It’s getting there! Better… a lot more cohesive than Day 1.
So much gratefulness to my travel agent. There are so many different parts to planning a trip that seems manageable, but if you’re planning anything longer than 2 weeks, it tends to get pretty messy. And with limited funds, it’s not like I can blow money day by day and see where it takes me. Maybe one day, but definitely not now.
Plans have changed, again. I will be in Paris from September 1-16 and then take my Spain, Portugal and Moroccos tour from September 16-October 1st. Hopefully by the end of the month, I will have visited at 6 countries and hopefully 8!
Finalizing flight tickets now which physically pains me. It is still peak tourist season in September so flights are not too cheap and accommodations do not help the wallet at all. Flights and Paris’s accomodation will be finalized by the end of the week! Super exciting stuff.
Japan is still a maybe. Flights from Madrid to Tokyo is very expensive and even staying in such a big metropolitan city comes with its price. I have been to Japan before so it isn’t the end of the world if I don’t go this time. However, with working with Japanese schools for several years and Jess working there, it would have been amazing to spend some time with the locals.
Instead of Japan, I will likely just stay home for the first 2 weeks of October and then head over to Ontario for my convocation. I think it’s a good idea to not be overly ambitious and overshoot my energy level and how much I can see AND remember it. However, I am shooting down to South America at the end of October.
Likely won’t happen, still recovering from this huge loss. Not sure if I’ll make it.
More to come. More changes, more excitement. I literally cannot wait to write about my actual trips.
